“The DRA has been woven into the fabric of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories are of going to the Dubuque Greyhound Park with my family — gathering for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and cheering as the greyhounds took their mark. My mom would study the race booklet, convinced she had a system to pick the winners. It never really worked, but that was never the point. We weren’t there for the profit. We were there for each other.”

Stories like this remind us that the DRA has always been about more than gaming, it’s about people, connection, and shared experiences that last a lifetime.
